Welcome to the official website of the Catholic Assistant Principals’ Association of Western Australia. This site is designed primarily for members to keep abreast of developments within our schools, and in our leadership roles, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas relating to education and leadership.

Catholic Assistant Principals in WA are committed to providing a quality Catholic education for students within our schools, preparing them for the many challenges that they will face in their lives, based on the life and teachings of Jesus the Christ.

 

CAPA aspires to provide a cohesive, representative voice for all assistant principals especially in regards to matters that directly affect us and the schools to which we serve.

 

Through our Association, we aim to provide a network for members which will support them in their work; professionally, pastorally, spiritually and socially. We strive to foster the spirit of co-operation and consultation that presently exists within Catholic education and continue to develop this to the benefit of our students and school communities. 

 

 

Responding to the needs of our members by sourcing and offering opportunities for professional development remains a constant challenge and one that we hope to fulfil, in some small part, through our annual Professional Conference.

 

This current site has been revamped and is still in the process of upgrading. The CAPA Executive hopes to keep this site current, through regular updating and through the support of our members. Please forward both useful resources and comments to the Executive whenever possible, to help us in this process.

 

We hope that you will assist us in making CAPA a positive force within education in WA through your energies, talents and your active support of initiatives within our Association.
