Catholic Assistant Principals in WA are committed to providing a quality Catholic education for students within our schools, preparing them for the many challenges that they will face in their lives, based on the life and teachings of Jesus. We are leaders within our schools and work to serve the members of our communities.

As a professional and representative body, the Catholic Assistant Principals' Association of WA, serves and supports members in their religious, spiritual, pastoral and educational leadership.

CAPAWA Events

CAPA aims to keep its member's informed about issues relating to education and leadership within the Catholic Education system of Western Australia. Our primary form of communication is Teams and we encouraged our members to check this regularly. If you are a member and you aren't yet connected via Teams, please contact us. 

Each year, CAPA provides professional learning opportunities for its members. CAPA encourages member input via surveys and feedback forms as a means of ongoing improvement. Current events are listed here, on the CAPA Microsoft Team. We encourage all our members to attend our annual events for networking and professional learning purposes.

  • CAPA MEMBER’S DAY: Friday 23rd February (Venue TBA)
  • CAPA CONFERENCE: Wednesday 21th (Evening) Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd August. 
  • CAPA AGM: Friday 25th October (Venue TBA)

PROFESSIONAL LEARNING SUPPORT

CAPA can provide some financial support for members who need assistance in funding their professional learning. If you wish to apply, please complete the Professional Learning Application Form and email it to admin@capawa.asn.au. The item will be listed for discussion at the next executive meeting.
